Three-year-old gelding Tossed Salad, exported for National Hunt (jump) racing.by Willem Ackerman and Heversham Farm, has arrived in Europe.
Shipper, Hobday Enterprises, reported: “The horses travelled quietly and are doing very well. They are happily munching and drinking. They landed in Liège instead of Maastricht. During the flight, one of the aircraft’s brake warning lights came on and purely as a safety precaution the plane was diverted to Liege Airport instead of Maastricht. This is luckily only 30min away from Maastricht.”

Tossed Salad stretched in a holding stable for a while, vet checks and release was done and he was sent on his way to Amstel.
He is by Wings of Desire out of the five-time winning Mogok mare, Runalong, and was chosen for the suitability of his size, conformation and pedigree for jump racing.
Heversham’s only previous foray into jump racing was the exporting of the Danehill stallion Solskjaer (IRE), which proved to be successful as he produced the multiple Group 1 winning steeplechaser Found a Fifty, last seen in action this April when he won the Jack McInerney Memorial Fairyhouse Chase (G2) for trainer Gordon Elliott.
