Our resident stallion, Pomodoro (Jet Master) was again in the news this week.
On the second day of the CRS Premier Sale Day at Kenilworth on Friday, the only Pomodoro colt offered over the two days topped the charts when purchased by Jonathan Snaith for R525 000.
He was Lot 228, a full-brother to the useful War Chariot, and a half-brother to Listed Gardenia Stakes victress Bella Chica, and smart Hong Kong performer Super Commander.

On Saturday, Pomodoro’s Jet posted his eighth win from 21 starts in a Pinnacle Plate at Turffontein, one of the most solid and consistent performers of his generation.
