Pomp And Power (Vercingetorix), the talented Grade 1 winner who retired to Heversham Park in 2023, is still doing very well at the farm
Pomp and Power, who raced for Greg Bortz, Etienne Braun and Marsh Shirtliff, was a temperamental racehorse, he didn’t always enjoy the racetrack too much, and farm life is much more like ‘the good life’ for him.
Here he is, with handler Kelly, who lunges him in the paddock.
Pomp and Power won five races, including the G1 Cape Derby, and finished second in the Daily News and third in the Cape Met.
