Heversham Park was active at last week’s 2024 Mixed Sale featuring the dispersal of Nadeson Park stock, following the passing of Hassen Adams.
Heversham’s Katerina Riley signed for six lots, including the active Redoute’s Choice sire, Time Thief (AUS), who was knocked down for just R10,000.
Time Thief (headline photo) has a few good years left and Kat Riley commented: “He is a beautiful, noble specimen who deserves a good home. He will be available to cover mares for a while, still.”
Time Thief has sired black-type stakes performers in Australia, including Grade 1 winner In Her Time and in South Africa and his best progeny includes Time For Love, Time Fo Orchids, Time For Glory and Waheed.
Heversham, in accordance with its commitment to improving the stud’s bloodstock via the acquisition of black-type mares, secured five mares for the broodmare barn, as below:
