Four entries to our August Two-Year-Sale Competition correctly predicted the top-selling colt, Lot 29, Torremolinos. We received 43 entries in total.
The correct entries came from Jacobus Fieland, Gregg Howarth, Marshin Chettiar and Kevin Naidoo.
Jacobus (headline photo) is an employee of Wilgerbosdrift Stud, and like the other winners he’s a keen breeding and racing follower.

We have decided to split the prize in four instead of drawing a single winner, and therefore each of the four gentlemen will receive R1,250. That, we believe, is a fair call.
As for the top filly, the single winner was Chris Lawrie, who also loves his pedigrees and has a collection of now valuable old SA Stud Books. He will receive R5,000 for selecting Lot 306, a One World filly out of Summer Moon.
