Our sponsored apprentice, Syanda Sosibo, rode his eighth winner for the season booting home 50-1 outsider Whispers Of War for Corne Spies at Turffontein on Saturday.
Syanda hads done that from only 70 rides at a strike rate of 11,4%, joint-highest on the apprentice’s log with Donald Geerthsen, and just two behind log-leader, Rachel Venniker.
