Pomodoro arrives

Pomodoro arrived at Heversham Park from Klawervlei on Friday morning after a long trip.

The 16-year-old son of Jet Master travelled well and looked fresh and alert when he was offloaded. He hesitated, took a look around his new home, sniffed around his big new paddock and then took some strides around it.

“We welcome the big boy, proud to have him,” said Heversham’s Kat Riley.

Pomodoro will take his place in the stallion barn alongside Capetown Noir, Jackson and Moofeed.

Hevershasm offers an introductory fee of just R2,500 (live foal) on his services. Pomodoro has already sired a G1-winning colt and filly from moderate mares.
