KAILENE, trained by Michael Roberts, became the latest filly to win for stallion Jackson. She ran on powerfully to beat a competitive field in a handicap over 1600m at Scottsville on Wednesday. Rachel Venniker held her reins.
This was Kailene’s third career win and there will be more. She started off at MR102 following a few Graded places, but her rating had to come down for her to be competitive again and by the looks of it she can be followed for good runs between MR85 and MR90.
Kailene was bred on the Jackson (Dynasty)/National Emblem cross and she looks like her dad. Jackson stands at only R3,000 live foal. Inquiries to nigel@hevershampark.co.za
