Heversham Park’s home-bred, Tartarus, has been purchased by a Mauritian interest. He will be racing on the island soon.
Tartarus last ran on 19 August when he went down a length to Ndaka at Greyville (photo, right), with the form quickly franked by third-placed Arividicio, who won at Scottsville last Sunday.
Tartarus is a colt by our resident stallion Moofeed (AUS), one of only two runners for this underestimated sire this year – with four places from five runs.
Moofeed, the fastest son of Duke Of Marmalade at stud, stands for just R3,000 per cover.
