Our resident stallion Moofeed (Duke Of Marmalad) has only had two runners from a smal first crop to race, and his two-year-old son Tartarus could be his first winner soon.
Tartarus has improved with every run, earned his first place cheque behind Pinch Hit in a strong form race last month and then finished second to promising sort Jimmy Don at the Vaal on Thursday, showing good pace and running on.
The Moofeed progeny are strong, well-built types. He won a sprint at Graded level, was consistently placed and is the fastest son of Duke Of Marmalade at stud.
