As noted on our FB blog last week, we own Countess Farama, the dam of the grey Top Rank, who ran in Saturday’s Gr1 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.
He ran third, well beaten, but Frankie Dettori said that the winner, Palace Pier, is one of the best milers he has ever ridden.
So that says a lot for Top Rank’s third. (He is the grey, on the left of photo).
Countess Farama is a half-sister to retired sire, Count Do Bois.
