His Majesty (IRE) has been imported for racing and breeding purposes and has arrived at Vaughan Marshall’s Milnerton stable in Cape Town.
He is a son of No Nay Never out of Czabo by Sixties Icon, bought at the Tattersalls Sale last year.
His Majesty won the Listed 2023 Gain First Flier Stakes over 1000m at The Curragh on his racecourse debut, trained by Aidan O’Brien. He was Group 2-placed twice after that.
O’Brien said at the time: “He’s a lovely big sleepy horse. They went a good gallop, it was a good race. Seamus (Heffernan) said he had loads of speed, but he was relaxed. He said when he clicked, he found plenty. He’s like a four-year-old, a big mature horse.”
Marshall said: “He arrived last week and is a bull of a horse. He went straight into his manger.”
