Heversham Park invested wisely at last week’s Riethhuiskraal Farm Reduction Sale, conducted online by Bloodstock SA.
We purchased six well-bred mares for a total of R80,000, all with paddock promise, and we hope to turn them around in their new environment.
The lots bought were:
Lot 20 CHE BELLA (Sail From Seattle), from the family of Puget Sound and a solid international female line, in foal to A Case Of You.
Lot 21 COYOTYE GIRL (Var), mare from a black-type, international female line.
Lot 29 INEVITABLE (Pomodoro) , lovely young mare who herself is out of a half-sister to international star, Crimson Palace.
Lot 33 PURE SPICE (Black Minnaloushe) – she’s a half-sister to Pine Princess from a top extended stud book family.
Lot 29 SLINKY THE CAT (Black Minnaloushe) – she recently produced promising two-year-old, Sherlock Holmes. Covered by Expert Eye.
LOT 41 TRIPPISSA (Trippi), a mare from the immediate family of Clouds Unfold, she is in foal to Oriental Charm.
